Today I photographed the wedding of a girl I went to school with. It was a lovely, vintage-themed, summer wedding, with a marquee in a cricket field. I was just about to leave, soon after the first dance, when the dancefloor cleared and in walked five beautiful burlesque dancers. They performed a 15 minute dance routine to the wedding guests. As a photographer, my job is to document the day, but it was very difficult for me not to look like a dirty pervert whilst taking photos of scantily clad women. Coincidentally, it was International Lace Day, so not only was I taking photos to document the wedding, I was also providing valuable evidence for my holiday celebrations.
